For the first time I booked a hotel in Egypt, because Sharm el Sheikh is a package trip destination, in which there is a shortage of budget accomodation. Above one of the two pools of my hotel.
Ocean Club hotel has according to hostels.com, that I used to make my booking (the same in hostelworld.com), free wi-fi, but it was not the reality. The connection would have cost 30 EGP (4 euros) per hour. They didn’t care about the promises and insisted the internet is not free.
This is the beach, where the shuttle bus of the hotel left us.
There is something good in Egpyt, the food. Above the Gad restaurant of the old market.
I went to Naama Bay by shuttle taxi, althought it’s route went far from the hotel. The touts in Naama Bay were so annoying, that I decided not to speak with any of them any more.
The beaches in Naama Bay are rented from government by four and five star hotels. At last I would have found a slice of beach in Naama Bay, that was possible to enter by paying 30 EGP (4 euros), but my skin didn’t need any more sun.
The hotel room cost 15 euros/night including buffet breakfast.
