Dahab is located on the Red Sead about 70 km to the north from Sharm el Sheikh. I had to wait for hours at the bus station, but time went fast while reading a book.
Dahab is a scuba diving destination, according to Lonely Planet there are 100 diving firms in Dahab. Beginners courses start from 200 euros and a trial dive costs 35 euros.

I would have wanted to make a snorkeling trip to Blue Hole, but because of my burned skin I couldn’t. The water was very clear also in the middle of the Dahab beach.
Seven Heaven hotel
I stayed at Seven Heaven hotel, 70 EGP (9 e) per night, air condition, no breakfast. Wi-fi was working fine, the room could have been cleaner.
There was some kind of festival in Dahab.
