Nuweiba Egypt

I checked the bus timetable Dahab-Nuweiba in Lonely Planet Middle East, but in the bus station I got to know there was no 4 pm bus, the next bus is leaving at 6:30 pm. I should have asked for example in my hotel about Nuweiba buses.

This time I didn’t feel like hanging at the bus station with mosquitos, but I took a taxi for the 70 km trip, it was only 110 EGP (14 euros). The views along the road were the best during this round trip so far.

Approaching Nuweiba, from here it was some kilometres to Taraben beach, where my accommodation Soft Beach Camp was located.

Soft Beach Camp was clean, but immediately outside there was a lot of carbage along the beach.

I made a wrong choice when I ordered Hawaii pizza – there was only cheese and pineapple in the pizza, absolutely nothing else!

I stayed one night in this very basic hut, the price was 50 EGP (6,5 e) including breakfast. I slept well, it was peaceful, I heard only the sound of vawes.

At the reception I was told, that there is a bus to Taba to the Egypt-Israel border at 9 am, and it is possible to enter the bus from the main round, no need to go to the bus station.
